Influence and Intervention
CFS members have a growing international presence. Our members have been invited to regional and international meetings. They have given advice and shared views on tax and development at various international decision making circles. Bosire Nyamori has been leading engagements with the UN Tax Committee and OECD. Attiya Waris engages with the UN General Assembly, UNCTAD, OHCHR and UNECA. Lyla Latif leads on engaging with the UN Economic and Financial Committee (Second Committee), UN Office of the Special Adviser on Africa, UNDP and the East Africa Law Society. Our interns join us during our meetings so as to benefit from international exposure and networking.
