CFS Submits Report Recommendations to the UN: Strengthening the Fiscal Social Contract for Human Rights Realization

The Committee on Fiscal Studies submitted recommendations to the UN Independent Expert on the effects of foreign debt, focusing on the financial responsibility of states regarding human rights and tax allocation. The recommendations emphasize progressive tax reforms, international tax cooperation, participatory budgeting, domestic resource mobilization, monitoring and accountability, data-driven tax policies, digitalization of tax administration, taxation of the digital economy and data flows.
