Rwoti Obadia Aruya is a dedicated Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) student at the University of Nairobi, Parklands Campus, with an expected graduation in December 2026. An active member of the Students Association for Legal Aid and Research (SALAR) and a mentee at the Committee on Fiscal Studies, Obadia has developed a strong foundation in legal research, advocacy, and collaborative governance. He has specialized training in Data Protection and Privacy Law. Obadia is deeply interested in the intersection of law and economics, with a primary focus on Public Finance and the evolving concept of Fiscal Legitimacy in a globalized world. His research interests also extend to the complexities of digital taxation, tax treaties, and the strategic nuances of international tax negotiations. He is committed to contributing to the discourse on fiscal governance and promoting transparency within the legal framework.
