Farheen Kassim is a Kenyan advocate and the founder of Farheen Kassim & Company Advocates, a firm specializing in litigation, mediation, corporate legal advisory services, and related areas.She is a highly qualified mediator, holding certifications including MTI (Mediator Training Institute), IMI (International Mediation Institute) Qualified, and SIMI (Singapore International Mediation Institute) accredited status. She also serves as a Commissioner of Oaths and Notary Public in Kenya. Kassim has been actively involved in public interest and economic justice initiatives. She has represented parties as counsel in proceedings such as the Africa People's Commission of Inquiry on issues like austerity measures (collaborating with organizations including TISA Kenya). At CFS she contribute to research and advocacy efforts particularly on Islamic finance instruments (e.g., Zakat and Sukuk) and their fiscal policy implications, and has participated in presenting evidence on economic accusations against international financial institutions.
